Good Hand — Handcrafted Ethnic Wear, Built to Sell

Good Hand brings a contemporary cut to Indian handicraft, out of Jaipur. The craft was the easy part to trust and the hardest part to convey online: a storefront had to look considered enough to justify the price, and convert well enough to pay for itself.

The brief

The label had a growing catalogue across women's and men's wear and no storefront that did it justice. They needed somewhere to actually sell — fast to browse, easy to trust, and buyable by an Indian customer who expects cash on delivery and a clear returns line before they commit.

What we proposed, and how it ran

  1. 01

We built the catalogue architecture first

A clothing store lives or dies on whether someone can find their size in their category in two clicks. We shaped the navigation around how people actually shop — Tops, Dresses, Lowers, Kurtas, Co-ord Sets, Men, Accessories, plus seasonal edits — and put faceted filters underneath, with live counts per size so a shopper never lands on an empty grid.

  2. 02

We let the craft carry the design

Warm, editorial product presentation with the garment doing the work: consistent shot direction, full galleries, colour swatches on the product page so a variant is one tap rather than a back button. Restraint was the point — the storefront should read as considered, not as a template with the brand's logo dropped in.

  3. 03

We made checkout match Indian buying habits

Cash on delivery, transparent shipping and a returns and exchange policy stated where the decision happens rather than buried in a footer. This is the difference between a store that looks good and a store an Indian customer will actually complete an order on.

  4. 04

We wired in the conversion mechanics

A no-code offer running in the announcement bar, a first-order incentive on email capture, live viewer counts as social proof, reviews on the product page, and WhatsApp as a support channel because that is where this customer already is.

What we delivered

  • A live Shopify storefront at goodhand.in
  • Nine top-level collections across women's and men's wear, plus seasonal edits
  • Faceted browse — size, colour and availability, with live counts
  • Product pages with variant swatches, full galleries, reviews and social proof
  • India-ready checkout: cash on delivery, shipping and returns stated up front
  • Offer bar, first-order email capture and WhatsApp support

Where it stands

Live and selling at goodhand.in. The catalogue has grown well past the launch set — eighty products in the long-kurta collection alone — on an architecture that absorbs new categories without a rebuild.
